Amusing Conversation
A gap in the crowded street opened revealing a couple of women having a giggle over something I am sure we are better not knowing.
Hello!
I was being followed by a group of curious children who quickly scampered away except one when I swung around and tried to take their picture.
Joking Butchers
Very pleased and friendly butchers more than happy to have their photo taken at Malibuy Market
Rush hour
Amongst the colonial buildings informal settlers have made their homes and are busy working.
Manok A Go Go
Two roosters obviously had a feeling of the coming rain and have secured shelter in a pedicab.
Manila Cathedral
Even though it's been a while since the pope popped over the cathedral still looks spruced and ready for the next pope to drop in for tea and biscuits.
Market Bound
These amazing machines which look more lethal than practical are common on the streets around Tondo but I was mildly surprised to see a dozen chug past the cathedral.
Family on the move
These amazing machines which look more lethal than practical are common on the streets around Tondo but I was mildly surprised to see a dozen chug past the cathedral.
Kalesa
Some of the horses working in Intramoros can look very sad but this one seemd reasonably well looked after by the driver.
Rizal Monument and uninvited photobomber
The butt ugly building being constructed behind Rizal Monument has drawn wide spread criticism and raised questions over the possibility of corruption involved in gaining planning approval.
Vendor and his Lechon
The smell in this part of Quezon City is full of the smell of roasting pig.... Delicious... If I had the space in the van I may have bought one.
Tending the Lechon
Aparently the work starts 4am and takes care and attention to roast the pigs slowly to maintain the juicy tender and delicious meat. Having tried some in the past all I can say is if you get the chance eat it!
Lechon Ready to Go
Along the street each vender places the Lechon ready for the visiting customers. The smell is amazing...
Making Do
A group of kids were playing in the flooded street during the heavy rains being directed by the little madam in her 'boat'.
Rebelion
As is the way the people eventually revolt and in this case the boys started to fashion rifles out of the styrofoam.
