A gap in the crowded street opened revealing a couple of women having a giggle over something I am sure we are better not knowing.

I was being followed by a group of curious children who quickly scampered away except one when I swung around and tried to take their picture.

Two roosters obviously had a feeling of the coming rain and have secured shelter in a pedicab.

Even though it's been a while since the pope popped over the cathedral still looks spruced and ready for the next pope to drop in for tea and biscuits.

These amazing machines which look more lethal than practical are common on the streets around Tondo but I was mildly surprised to see a dozen chug past the cathedral.

Some of the horses working in Intramoros can look very sad but this one seemd reasonably well looked after by the driver.

The smell in this part of Quezon City is full of the smell of roasting pig.... Delicious... If I had the space in the van I may have bought one.

Aparently the work starts 4am and takes care and attention to roast the pigs slowly to maintain the juicy tender and delicious meat. Having tried some in the past all I can say is if you get the chance eat it!

A group of kids were playing in the flooded street during the heavy rains being directed by the little madam in her 'boat'.
